Now located in Ferndale, Washington, Microtech Electronics Inc started business 1979 in Silverdale, Washington with secret clearance required for the responsibility of securing the US Navy Submarine Station at Bangor, Washington. With certified membership in the American Association for Industrial Security, Microtech was instrumental in bringing the then new technology of electronic access control to major commercial, industrial, and military facilities throughout the Northwest and Alaska.

The present focus of Microtech Electronics is on the new technologies that are emerging in the field of energy and power. These components, when designed as an integrated system that meets the specified needs of an application, are extremely efficient and effective.

Microtech Electronics is currently involved with USCG, NAVSEA, NSWCCD and others in specialty projects of this nature. References are available upon request.
